National Institutes of Health (NIH) is a federal site. All Visitors must check in at the Visitors’ Gateway Center. Allow for extra time for security. We strongly recommend that you use the METRO: Red Line Medical Center stop. The Visitors’ Gateway Center is to immediate left of the Metro stop. The NIH Natcher Conference Center is in building 45, toward the bottom right of the campus map, approx 3 blocks walk from the Metro stop. You can also take an NIH Shuttle bus. Please allow 15-20 minutes if using the Shuttle since it circles the NIH campus before stopping at Natcher Conference Center Bldg 45. Visitor parking is very limited, but available for a fee.

Anne Loehr
was named the “Generational Guru” by the Washington Post. Her insights into effectively building global and generationally diverse teams give leaders with organizations such as Facebook, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and American Red Cross a leading edge. Ms. Loehr’s customized blended-learning programs draw from her own international experiences. Leading a consulting team of five, she attracted a steady stream of clients, including: Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, US Air Force, Booz Allen Hamilton, US Arher, Facebook, Merrill Lynch, American Red Cross, and Share Our Strength. Anne utilizes a wide array of techniques to meet the needs of her clients; some current situations include designing a comprehensive development framework, conducting leadership and managerial programs, providing one-on-one executive coaching, leading workshops on leveraging generational differences, and designing online learning modules.
Through her affiliation with the National Speakers Association, Anne has served as the keynote speaker at local and national conferences. Representative talks include “Coaching to WIN BIG” and “The Art of Inquiry—Powerful Leaders Listen.” Ms. Loehr co-authored two leadership books: A Manager’s Guide to Coaching: Simple and Effective Ways to Get the Best Out of Your Employees (American Management Association) is an acclaimed book that outlines her 6-step model to deliver feedback, provide guidance and inspire employees and teams to be highly engaged and effective; and Managing the Unmanageable: How to Motivate Even the Most Unruly Employee (Career Press) demonstrates how to use her 5C framework to manage organizational “UE’s” (unmanageable employees).

Dr. Andre Leyva
is President, and founder of the Psychology Center in Montgomery County, Maryland. Nationally recognized trainer, consultant, and Key Note Speaker. International presenter in Canada, South America and Eastern Europe. Member of National Association of Hispanic Psychologists. Board Member of the Montgomery County Mental Health Commission. Cited in Who?s Who of American Psychologists. Dr. Leyva is a recognized Subject Matter Expert in Diversity, EEO, Cross-Cultural Communication, Team Building, Supervision, and other topics. Also, expert at assessment tools and applications to Conflict Resolution to “real world” work settings. His doctoral dissertation on “Conflict Resolution” when published, was requested by mental health professionals across Europe and South America. He currently writes for two family magazines and has authored numerous professional articles and books. Dr. Leyva developed a multi-cultural training program at Head Start in Maryland and Washington, DC, and served as Clinical Director for a mental health facility in Northern Virginia. Mindy L. Zasloff
is an international consultant with more that 20 years of experience in the public and private sector. She uses her sense of humor and unique facilitation skills to make programs come alive and get participants to change their behavior as a result of the workshops she presents.
Mindy has traveled the world facilitating leadership programs. She trained managers to coach and develop their employees for Microsoft in South America, Asia, Europe, as well as the United States.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Mindy held a number of high level management positions in the public and private sector. She was Director of Administration for Epson America, Inc. (a Division of Seiko) where she reported to the CEO and managed a group of 41 employees in five functional areas. For 8 years she was Manager of Training and Employee Relations for Toyota Motor Sales, USA where she directed all of Toyota’s organizational development, training, and employee relations activities throughout the United States. Her previous positions included Affirmative Action Officer and Senior Personnel Analyst for the Metropolitan Water District and Labor Relations Analyst for the 22 Two Guys and 53 Builder’s Emporium Stores.
Mindy specializes in developing and presenting customized training in the following areas: leadership, mentoring, career development, influencing, problem solving and decision making, communication skills and employee engagement. She is certified in the Center for Creative Leaderships’ 360 degree Skillscope process as well as other assessment tools such as DISC, and Personal Listening Styles.
Mindy has an M.B.A from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles California with a major in International Organizational Development and a B.A. from American University in Special Education in Washington DC. She frequently speaks at Universities and conferences on topics ranging from group mentoring to influencing others without positional power.
